This month on CEO with Lee Cullum, Susan (Sue) Spradley, Head of North America Region, explains her unique approach to managing the region of one of the largest telecommunications equipment and service companies in the world. “You really can’t be stuck doing business the way you used to do it,” says Spradley. Also discussed is the dynamic change ahead for the company and its innovations for wireless devices.

ABOUT SUSAN SPRADLEY

With more than two decades of international experience in services, operations, sales, customer service and global product line management in the telecommunications industry, Sue Spradley leads the North America region at Nokia Siemens Networks. She is a valued executive with broad managerial and team building skills who joined Nokia Siemens Networks in July 2007. Previously, she assumed the role of President of Nortel Global Services and Operations, heading technical engineering, manufacturing and supply chain management at the company. Earlier, Sue played a key role in establishing Siemens Communications’ North American business as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. Sue holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Kansas and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University Business School and the Executive Management Program at London Business School. She is a board member of the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science, and serves as Chair of the Dallas Regional Chamber’s Technology Business Council. Previously, she was also a member of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NTSAC) reporting to the President of the United States.
