Crowley, President of Raytheon Network Centric Systems (NCS), joins host Lee Cullum to discuss the company’s high-tech defense products and how NCS devices protect the lives of first responders and soldiers in theater. “Whether it’s defeating improvised explosive devices or providing the latest technology to first responders, the men and women of Raytheon are very proud of the role they play in protecting lives,” remarks Crowley. The Raytheon NCS chief executive explains how the industry is preparing for proposed cuts in defense spending, and why he is optimistic about U.S. manufacturing, stating “There’s really a third industrial revolution that’s beginning. Raytheon is on the leading edge of that revolution by linking the domains of design, development and production.”
