Meeting Your Attacker

In 2006, Bradford Pearson was walking to his car in West Philadelphia when three armed men robbed him at gunpoint and threatened his life. The men were eventually caught and convicted, which gave Pearson the opportunity to meet his attackers again. He wrote an essay about it for Philadelphia magazine. This hour, we’ll talk with Pearson about what it’s like to think you might be killed and how it felt to be able to finally ask the men about why they chose him. And we’ll also be joined by Jon Wilson, an expert in facilitating dialogue between victims and offenders.
